Yvonica "Vonnie" Waldrop

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yvonica "Vonnie" Waldrop, at the age of 61. Vonnie, born on January 1, 1963, tragically departed from us on July 14, 2024, due to a motorcycle accident. She was the cherished daughter of Brian Feiner and Marty Ashby, now resting peacefully with them in heaven.

Vonnie's life was a testament to her unwavering faith in the Lord, finding solace and inspiration in attending various churches to nourish her soul with God's teachings. Her vibrant spirit was evident in her passions for motorcycle riding, music, painting, and aiding those in need, embodying a selfless demeanor that touched the lives of many.

A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Vonnie reveled in moments spent with her family, who held a special place in her heart. She initiated a single moms ministry and podcast known as "Grafted IN," showcasing her commitment to supporting others with kindness and empathy. Her versatility in different pursuits led those around her to affectionately dub her the "Jack Of All Trades." She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Dana.

Vonnie is survived by her husband of 41 years, John Waldrop, Jr.; children, Keith Waldrop and wife Samantha, Joe Waldrop and wife Chastity, Jessica Gremminger and husband Broc; eight grandchildren, Ava, Cali, Mia, Carson, Taylor, Mason, William and Abby; siblings, Chris (Lynnise) Robinette, BJ Feiner, Eric Feiner, Danny Ashby and Stephanie (Bill) Hedrick.

 Rest in peace, dear Vonnie, your spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives you have touched.

 The Waldrop family is planning a small family gathering at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
