Mr. Wyman Elton Boyer passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Mercy Jefferson Hospital, Festus, at the age of 70 years, 5 months & 24 days. Wyman was born Sept. 20, 1944, in DeSoto, & was the son of Della Boyer and Ella 'Courtaway' Boyer. Also preceding-in-death were: a sister, Ella Mae Hoffman and a brother, Donald (& Sandy) Boyer.

Wyman was a US ARMY Veteran & member of DeSoto VFW Post #1831, and Farmington ELKS Lodge #1765. Wyman was married to Judith Marie Filkins on September 20, 1967, in DeSoto.

Survivors Include: his wife, Judy Boyer, of Farmington. 1 daughter, Michelle Jost, of Farmington. 2 sons: Richard (& Jolean) Boyer, of Farmington; Brian (& Danielle) Boyer, of Cape Girardeau. 3 sisters: Lena Wicker, of DeSoto; Bessie (& Rich) Trojahn, of DeSoto; Barbara (& Jerry) Coleman, of Hematite. 3 brothers; Danny (& Judy) Boyer, of DeSoto; Earl (& Joyce) Boyer, of DeSoto; Gerald (& Kay) Boyer, of DeSoto. 7 grandchildren: Allison Boyer, Andrew Boyer (& Lizzie Gilliam); Lauren Jost; Katelyn Boyer, Kelsey Boyer, Cash Boyer & Claire Boyer & 1 great-grandson, Edison Boyer. Also surviving are numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation: Monday, 4-8 p.m., with a VFW Service @ 6:30 p.m. & a ELKS Service @ 7:00 p.m.

Visitation resumes : Tuesday @ 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., March 17, 2015

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Gene Moses officiating.

LeadBelt Patriot Guard Riders will lead the funeral procession to Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington, for burial with full military honors.
