Willie Lee Franks

Willie Lee Franks, age 68, of St. Louis, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at his daughter’s home.  He was born on February 12, 1952 in Sledge, Mississippi.

Willie is preceded in death by his mom, Vera Lee (Watkins) Franks; step-grandson, Marcel Lambert; and sister, Barbara Jean Franks .

Willie is survived by his father M.D. Franks; children, Willie and wife Amy Sansoucie, Carl Dion Franks, Paula Franks, and Michel Griffin; stepchildren, Tammie and husband Taiwan Lester and Amanda Jackson; grandchildren, Jordan and Olivia Leftridge, Wyatt and Haylee Sansoucie, Alex and Caleb Hawkins, Jada and Carlie Franks, Corbin and Camille Parker; step-grandchildren, Marcia Lambert, Terriona, Tannet, and Taiwan Lester; brothers, Lem and wife Clemetine Franks, and Floyd Franks; sister, Felicia Whisenton; and step-niece, Denise Treece; mother of his first three children, Diane Golden; mother of Michel, Sheila Griffin; and mother of stepchildren, Carol Jackson.

There will be a memorial visitation held Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 2 pm until 4 pm at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge.
