William Mitchell Ross

          William Ross, 80, of Park Hills, passed away April 9, 2021, at Mercy Jefferson in Festus.  He was born August 10, 1940, in Gumbo, to the late William Winford and Hilda Berniece (Mitchell) Ross.  William was retired from Boeing and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Park Hills.  He served his country proudly, in the United States Navy.

          He was preceded in death by his parents; great-grandson, Marshall Baumer; sisters, Lena Lucy, Patricia Kupke, Clara Moses, and Linda Ross; brothers, Wayne, James “Joe,” Lemme and Norris “Dickie” Ross.

          William is survived by his wife Barbara (Johnson) Ross; sons, Thomas, Brigham and Benjamin Ross; granddaughter, Brittany Wiles; three great-grandsons, Gavin Wiles, Spencer Baumer, and Dallas Wiles; sisters, Marilyn Rawson and Bonnie Skaggs.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday,

April 11, 2021, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.  The service will be held Monday, April 12, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with Rev. Mark S. Ebert officiating.  Interment will follow at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Park Hills.
