William Mitchell Raby

William Mitchell Raby passed away January 16, 2020 at the age of 89. He was born December 9, 1930 to Noah Milton Raby and Lillian Dorothy (Hulsey) Raby. He graduated High School in 1948 from Farmington Lutheran School. He joined the Air Force in 1951 and was a veteran of the Korean War. Returning home, he went to work at Puritan Fashions Manufacturing Company for 9 years. He then went to work at Medical Arts Pharmacy as a Pharmacy tech for Eddie Klein for 25 years.

Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and arrowhead hunting. He had a great sense of humor and will be sadly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Jane Wood and Josephine Mae Burch; brother-in-law, John Wood; and niece, Judy Wood.

He is survived by his nieces, Jean Wood, Debbie Prose, Mindy Gallaway; nephews, John Wood, Bill Burch, Jim Burch; and 11 great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, January 20, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel in Farmington with Rev. Kevin Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
