William “Bill” Henry Grundmann, Jr.

Bill Grundmann, age 85, of Bonne Terre, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Evelyn’s House BJC Hospice in Creve Couer, Missouri. He was born September 8, 1932 to the late William Henry Grundmann, Sr. and June (Everheart) Grundmann in St. Louis, Missouri. Bill served our country in The United States Army. Bill was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and a proud Samaritan of Masonic Lodge. He retired from St. Joe/ Doe Run Company and volunteered at Parkland Health Center. Bill was also a past Boy Scout leader and loved sports. He was very active with his family and will be greatly missed.

Bill is survived by his wife, Marie Jane (Durovcik) Selzer-Grundmann; children, William George Grundmann, Barry and wife Debbie Grundmann, Robert and wife Tammy Grundmann, and Bradley and wife Randi Grundmann; grandchildren, Matt and wife Lindsey, Kyle, Stephanie and husband Seth Halbert, Eric, Rylie, Jacob, Wyatt, Hunter, Sarah, and Ty; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Denver, and Braden; brother, Gordon Grundmann; and many other family and friends also survive.

There will be a Memorial Visitation from 1 PM to 2 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, July 7, 2018 with a Memorial Service beginning at 2 PM with Pastor Jarold Rux officiating and assisted by Alex Marque. There will be full military honors conducted at the church. Memorials may be made to Evelyn’s House BJC Hospice 1000 N.
