William "Bill" Eugene Fisher, 80, of Farmington passed away April 23, 2015. He was born September 25, 1934 in Morley, MO. Bill proudly served his country and retired from the United States Marine Corps and National Guard after 33 combined years of service. He served during the Korean Conflict, Vietnam War and two tours in Panama. He was an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International. He served in several ministerial roles pastoring to many in our surrounding communities. He was also the former owner of the Standard Oil Station in Bonne Terre. Bill was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 12 of Farmington and the American Legion of Farmington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Maggie (Warner) Fisher; brother, Hillard Fisher; sisters, Loyce Maglone, Joyce Kowal; half-brother, Ronald Shelton. Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Andeana Marie Fisher; daughter, Brenda McMillin of California; son, James Fisher and wife Diane of Springfield, MO; three grandchildren, Kelly Jewett, Klent Jewett, Brian James Fisher and wife Marianne; two great-grandchildren, Eric and Sadie Fisher; sister, Bonnie Schott; half-brother, Donald Shelton; three half-sisters, Judy Kolfut, Diane Shelton, Julia Wood. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 6:30 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with Rev. Nathaniel James Molter officiating. Interment will be held on Wednesday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO at 1:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the DAV Chapter 12 of Farmington.
