Mr. William Bryant Pinkston, Sr., passed away Wednesday evening, May 20,2015, at the Friendship Health & Rehab in Cleveland, Georgia, at the age of 94 years, 6 months & 11 days. William was born on November 9, 1920, in Flat River, Missouri, and was the son of Herman Pinkston and Ethel J. 'Archambo' Pinkston. Also preceding-in-death was his wife, Virginia Lee 'Chamberlain' Pinkston (Feb. 20, 2015); a sister, Genevieve Griffard & 3 brothers - Fred Pinkston; Homer Pinkston & Elwood Pinkston.
Survivors Include : a son, William B. (& Patricia) Pinkston, Jr., of Cleveland, Georgia. A sister, Beulah Jane Vaught, of Bonne Terre. 3 brothers: Ernie (& Rose) Pinkston, of Bonne Terre; Charles (& Fay) Pinkston, of Farmington; and Carvel (& Violet) Pinkston, of Bonne Terre. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren.
William was a member of the Marvin Chapel Church, and a US Army Veteran of World War II.
