William " Bill" David Hurley

William “Bill” David Hurley, of Bonne Terre passed away Monday, January 2, 2023, at the age of 85. He was born on Tuesday, June 1, 1937, to the late George Riley and Hattie Ellen (King) Hurley. He was also preceded in death by 15 siblings; one granddaughter, Kathryn Elizabeth Grace Eaton.

          Bill served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed going to flea markets, thrift stores, traveling, and his pride and joy was his El Camino. Bill was a proud family man, he dearly loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shelby (Kellick) Hurley; seven children, William (Diane) Hurley, Jr., Michael (Sandie) Eaton, Donnie Hurley, Patty Haus, Georgia (Paul) McClanahan, Jeff (Diane) Eaton and Laura (Steve) Borgetti; 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Tiger along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Friday, January 6, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The visitation will resume Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM with Pastor Alan David officiating. Interment will follow at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, Missouri.

Arrangements are under the direction of CZ Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
