Wilford Bess

Wilford Lee Bess of Bonne Terre passed away November 14, 2012 at the age of 75. He was born August 17, 1937 to the late Ernest Lee and Lela Irene (Morris) Bess in Bonne Terre. Wilford is also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Bess. Wilford was a member of the East Bonne Terre First Baptist Church.Wilford is survived by his wife, Carol (Wilkinson) Bess; sons, Gordon and wife Shelly Bess, James and wife Jayne Bess all of Bonne Terre; grandchildren, Amanda and husband Rick Peterson, Andrew and wife Kara Bess, Bradley Bess, Whitney Bess; great-grandchildren, Grant, Jovie, Drew, Macie and Keely; three brothers and two sisters, Raymond Bess, Bertha "Burt" Burch, Karen Burr, Leonard and wife Sally Bess, William "Bill" Bess; several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be Thursday November 15, 2012 from 4 to 9 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Funeral service will be 11am Friday November 16, 2012 at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Randy Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at the Bess Family Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation.
