Wayne Perret

Wayne Perret, age 78, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Parkland Hospital in Farmington. He was born July 10, 1945 in Bonne Terre to the late George and Pearl (Martin) Perret. Wayne was a contractor for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Maxine Hibbits, Laverne Valleck; and brother, Keith Perret.

Wayne wed Phyllis (Meador) Perret on March 21, 1964. Along with his wife, he is survived by the love and pride of his life, daughters, Teresa Perret of DeSoto, Kimberly (Chris) Huffman of Bonne Terre; granddaughters, Kourtney (Chris) Short of Bonne Terre, Madison Luck of House Springs; his precious “babies”, great-grandchildren, MacKenna and Maxton Short of Bonne Terre; and step great-grandson, Mason Short of Illinois; siblings, brother, Ed Perret, sister, Lavada Rawlins; and great friends, Paul Williams and Klay Pettus also survive.

Wayne requested a private graveside service. If you wish, donations can be made to his favorite charities; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Shriners Children’s Hospital or Ronald McDonald House.
