Warna Young Lucas, 97, of Farmington passed away August 13, 2021 at her residence. She was born February 21, 1924 in Eminence, Mo to the late George Washington Harrison and Pearl (Lawson) Harrison. She is also preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Young and Charles Melvin Lucas; her special friend, Clayton Osman; and four brothers, Lionel, Gerald, Dale, and Bill Harrison.
Warna was known as a great seamstress in the area. She retired from Biltwell and was the manager at the former Biltwell Slack Outlet. After retirement, she often volunteered at the Farmington Ministerial Alliance. Warna loved family gatherings, often hosting them. She deeply loved her family and had a true gift of hospitality. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington and the Christian Women's Club.
Warna is survived by her daughter, Dottie Charboneau and Husband Don; one son, Stevie Young and wife Beth; grandchildren, Chris Charboneau and wife Amber, Byron Charboneau and wife Lauren, Kyle Lindsey and wife Tarin, Steven Young and wife Katie, Doug Hamlett and Andy Hamlett, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be at the C.Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel in Farmington on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 10 am until time of the Funeral Service at 12 pm with Pastor Travis Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America at www.mymsaa.org.
