Wanda Lee Autry

Wanda Lee (Watkins) Autry, age 84, of Bonne Terre, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. Wanda was born January 5, 1936 to the late Harvey and Emma (Reed) Watkins. She was a remarkably successful business owner of many trades. Wanda and her sister Lucy co-owned Envelope Express in Kansas City, MO, partnered with her husband and ran Autry Construction of Humboldt, KS, and owned many nursing facilities.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her sister, Martha “Lucy” Lucille Irwin.

Wanda is survived by her sons, Carl W. Autry and fiancé Debbie Copeland, Darrell Autry and wife Michelle, and Henry Autry and wife Cindy; brother, Eddie Watkins; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.

There will be a visitation Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 3 pm until service time of 5 pm at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Bonne Terre. There will be a graveside service 1 pm on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Crabtree Cemetery in Clint, Arkansas. C.Z. Boyer funeral home requires Face masks or coverings at all times
