Wanda L. Chatman

Wanda Lee Chatman, 87, of Farmington passed away August 12, 2024 at Presbyterian Manor. She was born January 18, 1937 in Knob Lick, MO to the late Elmer and Zoah Jarnagin. She was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Farmington. Wanda was a cook for many years at Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center. She loved cooking, baking and crafting. She especially enjoyed spending time with her church family and attending all of the church activities. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Chatman-Thompson and husband Mark; son, David Chatman; brother, Lester Jarnagin; two sisters, Mary Ellen Bannister and Virginia Ratley; ex-husband, Lee Chatman.

Wanda is survived by two grandchildren, Lesley Chatman and Thomas Chatman; two great-grandsons, Wyatt Chatman and Levi Brawley; daughter-in-law, Dee Holmes; two brothers-in-law, Pee Wee Chatman and Jerry Chatman and wife Betty; niece, Sue Ratley; dear friends, Shelly, Sandy and Dot.

A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 5:00 PM until the time of a memorial service at 6:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington with Rev. Bob Webb officiating.
