Wanda Bess

     Wanda Lee (Taylor) Bess, age 74 of Park Hills passed away January 22, 2021, at her residence. She was born March 25, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Henry William Wesley and Laura Louisa (Stevens) Taylor. Wanda enjoyed puzzles, working in her garden and planting flowers around the house.

     In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by siblings, James “Bo” Wesley Taylor, Coweeta Washington and Ronald Taylor.

     Wanda is survived by her loving husband, Gaylon Bess; children, Erika York and Nitikia Glore (Drew Orlosky); grandchildren, Keegen, Alayna, Curtis and Amaya; siblings, Rita Wells, Sandra Taylor, Myra Henderson, Bob Taylor, Bill Taylor, Frank Taylor along with several nieces and nephews.

     There will be a visitation Monday, January 25, 2021, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume Tuesday, January 26, 2021, from 9:00 AM until service time of 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Adams Hillcrest Cemetery.
