Walter Scott Denny

Walter Denny, 85, of Desloge, passed away July 31, 2015 at NHC in Desloge. He was born April 21, 1930 in Fort Scott, Kansas to the late Joseph Suttle and Anna Mae (Farris) Denny. Walter was a member of the Church of Christ in Potosi. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Vera Spurlock; second wife, Shirley Grooms; brothers, Roy, John, Bob, Joe, and Ernest Denny; sisters, Hazle Heller, Helen Baldwin, Josephine Morlen, and Lucille Martin. Walter is survived by four sons, Rob, Walter, Samuel, and Norman Denny; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Leadwood, Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 10:00 AM to service time at 1:00 PM. Pastor Tim Stafford will be officiating.
