Walter Jewell Stegall

Walter J. Stegall, 78 of Bonne Terre passed away November 16, 2012 at his residence. He was born October 11, 1934 in Bonne Terre, MO.He was preceded in death by parents Howard and Mazell (Easter ) Stegall; brothers Howard Eugene Stegall who served in WWII and was killed during his service in Italy, Stanford Lee Stegall, Donald J. Stegall, twin brothers Lilford and Wilford Stegall, and Lynn Henry Stegall; sisters Freda Mae (Stegall) Weir and Nina Mazell (Stegall) Barton.Walter is survived by his wife Judy (Pettus) Stegall of Bonne Terre; daughters Marilyn (Mrs. Randy) Murphy of Bonne Terre, Karen (Mrs. Gary) Patterson of Bonne Terre; son Jeffery (Virginia) Stegall of Bonne Terre; brother Frankie (Sharon) Stegall of Bonne Terre and sister Tena (Mrs. Durwood) Richardson of Bonne Terre; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.Visitation will be Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday, November 19, 2012 at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Randy Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Germania Cemetery. The family requests that due to allergies only plants and silk arrangements be sent and suggest in lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to either the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America or Primrose Baptist Church.
