Vonda Lee (Pettus) Cash

Vonda Lee (Pettus) Cash 61, of Bonne Terre passed away February 22, 2012 at her residence. She was born March 4, 1950 in Bonne Terre. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Bonne Terre. Vonda was self employed as a beautician for 44 years. She loved to dance and spend time with her grandchildren. Vonda lost her battle with cancer after fighting it for 5 years. She was preceded in death by her father, John Lee Pettus; great-nephew, Eli Murphy; very close friend and aunt, Irma Sens.Vonda is survived by her son, Randall Lee Arnold and wife Josephine of Dallas, GA; four grandchildren, Kaytlyn, Blaine, Braeden and Madilynn; special friend, Tony Stewart; mother, Thelma Jean Pettus-Weiler and her husband, Walter Weiler, Jr. of Bonne Terre; two sisters, Wanda (Mrs. Bill) Murphy of Bonne Terre and Darlene (Mrs. Bob) Hudson of Perryville; two brothers, Kevin Pettus and wife Gale of Terre Du Lac and Klay Pettus of Bonne Terre. Several other family members and friends also survive. Visitation will be Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 10:30 AM until 1:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Tisha Mundy and Rev. Patrice Rosner officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
