Mrs. Virginia Lee Rasnic passed away Sunday evening, July 10, 2016, at the Arbors at Maple Brook, in Farmington, at the age of 92 years, 7 months & 20 days. Virginia was born on November 20, 1923, in Granite City, Illinois, and the daughter of Ulysses Grant Lovvorn and Molinda Anna 'Parker' Lovvorn. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Orvin Perry Rasnic (1982); 2 sisters - Ruby Kiepe & Melva White, and a brother, Jim Lovvorn.
Virginia was a longtime, faithful member of Farmington First Baptist Church.
Survivors Include : a daughter, Sandra (& Steve) Tucker, of Farmington. A son, Donald Rasnic, of Fredericktown. A sister, Wilma (& Allen) Winstead, of Lucedale, MS. 4 grandchildren: Megan (& Nathan) Gluesenkamp, of Imperial, MO; Ben (& Brandi) Tucker, of Farmington; Chris (& Katie) Tucker, of Farmington, and Sara (& Mark) Beiser, of Farmington. 10 great-grandchildren: Kaityln, Haley, Brantley, Kelcee, Grant, Chance, Grace, Brayden, Tyla and Tali. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Visitation : Wednesday, 9-11 a.m.
Funeral : Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., July 13, 2016
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating
Interment follows at : Parkview Cemetery, Farmington.
