Virginia Lee Bray

Mrs. Virginia L. Bray passed away Friday afternoon, April 5, 2013, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, Farmington, at the age of 94 years, 11 months & 21 days. Virginia was born on May 14, 1918, in Farmington, & was the daughter of George Jennings and Pearl 'Williams' Jennings. Also preceding in death were: her husband, Martin Lynn Bray, Sr., (Oct. 22, 1983); a son, John David Bray (May 26, 1965); a brother, Harry Jennings and a nephew, Carl Jennings.

Virginia was a longtime, faithful member of Farmington First Baptist Church, where she helped in the Nursery & Bible School. She loved flowers and rescued many animals including "Baby Dog" and several cats that survive due to her loving care.

Survivors Include : a daughter, Wilma Jean Bray, of Farmington. a son, Martin Lynn Bray, Jr., of Farmington. 2 nieces: Barbara Sherrill, of Pevely; Martha (& Tom) Lewis, of Portland, Oregon. Also surviving are several cousins and numerous friends.

Visitation : Monday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes, Tuesday, 6:30 - 8:30 a.m.

Visitation then moves to Farmington First Baptist Church and starts, Tuesday @ 10:00 a.m.

Funeral : Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., April 9, 2013

at : Farmington First Baptist Church, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating.

Interment follows at : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington
