Virginia Lee (Meyer) Schneider, aka "Ginny" went to live with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. She was born in Farmington, MO., on Sept. 22, 1925, to Mr. & Mrs. Earl G. Meyer.
Ginny was beloved by her family and friends. Her husband, Richard A. Schneider, who preceded her in his heavenly homecoming, adored her. Their love for each other and their family was a strong testament to living their lives in the Love and Grace of their Savior, Jesus Christ.
Ginny was a naturally happy lady. She lived her life to the fullest, giving to and serving others, singing and playing the piano, playing golf and tennis, and oil painting. When her children were in elementary school, she returned to college earning a degree in education from Harris Teacher's College in St. Louis. She taught K-4 during her teaching career. She touched many lives by her positive, patient and encouraging attitude. During her later years she read her Bible from cover-to-cover several times. Ginny was a devoted Child of God.
She is survived by her three children, Joyce Anne (Schneider) Chalmers, Mary Lee (Schneider) Ross, and Richard Douglas Schneider, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Although we are blessed by many loving memories we will miss our Mother and friend but are comforted with the full and certain knowledge that she is safely in her Heavenly Home.
