Violet “Vi” Stegall age 87, of Bone Terre, passed away March 16, 2016 at her residence. She was born on April 10, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri. Violet was a people person, selling real estate late in life, she was well known and liked by many. A fond memory of hers was owning and operating the Farmer’s Daughter Restaurant near Terre Du Lac.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wilborn Lloyd; mother, Eva Ringer; husband, Norman C. Stegall; siblings, Gladys Hamann, Karl Brandhoefer, Karen Benham, Earl Brandhoefer and Rosie Coons
Violet is survived by a son, Norman David Stegall; daughter, Debbie Scott and husband Richard; seven grandchildren, Scott Eddings, Karla Boatman, Sarah Dolan, Nicole Scott, Tammi Coleman, Paula Scott and Derrick Scott; fourteen great-grandchildren, Mason, Remmie, Kyra, Kobe, Ellie, Kylea, Maddie, Robert, Teren, Ty, Tanden, Ezea, Saydee and Brea; dear friends, Dr. and Mrs. Wadia, Janice Adams, Mary Green, Ginnie Wedepohl and Tom Burns.
Visitation will be held at C.Z Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Friday, March 18, 2016 from 5:00 PM up until service time of 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
