Vicki M. Mayerhoffer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vicki (Bangert) Mayerhoffer, who left us on April 11, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on December 17, 1952, Vicki was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother, and a cherished sister, known for her immense talent and unwavering strength. Vicki dedicated her life to caring for others, retiring after working 40 years at Parkland Health Center. She held the roles of both mother and father with grace and love.

She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Kelly (Justin) Sadler, and her adored granddaughters, Kiley and Kinsey Sadler. Vicki was also a beloved sister to Marsha (William) Borchardt, Paula Lambrecht (Sam McCord), and Susan (Carl) Edgar; sisters in law, Carol (Mike) Parker and Jane Hull; She will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews; Camille Edgar and family, Casie Anderson and family, Elizabeth Cook and family, Morgan Hart, David Borchardt and family, Mike Borchardt, Laura Bavoso and family, Daniel Shenman, Terri Owen and family, Christy Siebert and family, Jonathan Hull and family.

Vicki had an extraordinary ability to create and nurture. She was an amazing cook and could also tackle any project she set her mind to. Her beautiful home, recognized for its seasonal decorations, earned her the honor of winning "Yard of Distinction." Vicki was truly a creative spirit, effortlessly transforming any space with her talents and dedication. Her love for cooking reflected her nurturing nature and she took pride in her vibrant surroundings, welcoming friends and family into a home that was both warm and inviting. Vicki will be remembered not just for her many talents and accomplishments, but for the love she shared with those around her. Her legacy will continue through her family and the countless lives she touched. 

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, George S. and Ruth (Carlson) Bangert; loving husband, Albert "Mugs" Mayerhoffer; son, Kyle Mayerhoffer; sister, Jane (Bangert) Emery.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home in Bonne Terre on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM until service time of 12:00 PM with Chaplain Jacob Pollard officiating. Memorials may be made to Project Purple in honor of a dear family friend, Linda Wheatley.
