Utah Carl Chapman

Utah Carl Chapman, age 91, of Festus, passed away at Scenic Nursing and Rehab in Herculaneum on January 6, 2021. Utah was born June 16, 1929 in Emboden, Missouri and proudly served our country in The United States Army.

Utah was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Mae (Hasty) Chapman, daughter, Carrie Erp; son-in-law, Ray Erp; son-in-law, John Edgar; brother, Junior Chapman.

Utah is survived by his wife, Netta Lee Chapman; daughter, Carolyn Edgar; grandchildren, Tim Edgar and wife Charity, Andrew Edgar and wife Amy, Matt Edgar and wife Hannah, Mike Erp and wife Tara, and Kimberly Diaz; several great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation Friday, January 8, 2021 from 3 pm until 8 pm at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume 1:30 pm Saturday, January 9, 2021 until service time of 2 pm at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Brother Lloyd O’Neal officiating. Interment will follow at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. Please practice social distancing guidelines. Facial masks are required.
