Tyman Barbey

Tyman Wayne Barbey, 64, of Bonne Terre passed away June 29, 2015 at his residence. He was born October 23, 1950 in St. Louis. Tyman was an ordained pastor for the Southern Baptist Convention and filled pulpits for several area churches in the Parkland. He also drove a bus for Central School for 9 years and liked to ride his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Barbey, Sr. and Hattie (Hutchings) Irwin; brother, Bill Irwin. Tyman is survived by his wife, Loretta (Cauley) Barbey; two daughters, Tina Points and husband Clinton, Theresa Carducci and husband Joe; three grandchildren, Cole, Madelyn and Josephine; two brothers, Francis "Sonny" Barbey, Jr. and wife Fran, Lee Irwin and wife Brenda. Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Friday at 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Bro. Charles Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Adams Cemetery in Frankclay. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice-St. John.
