Trenton James Weiss age 29, born Friday, September 8, 1995, hometown of Park Hills, chose to end his journey on this earth Sunday, April 6, 2025. TJ is dearly loved and is survived by; parents, Kelly and Nathan Young; brother, Dustin and sister-in-law, Maddie Young; grandparents, Brenda and Dave Carroll and Jeanne Sessler; great-grandma, Patricia Sandford; aunt, Kayla and Josh Schoonover; nephew, Jameson Schoonover, along with great aunt, uncles and many cousins who will miss him dearly. TJ is proceeded in death by grandparents, Billy Sessler; Corey and Mark Valentine; Gene Sandford , Harold Fancher and Deborah Striler.
Trenton is a name of English origin, derived from Trent town meaning “town by the River Trent.” If you know TJ, you know his heart lives on the river especially in a kayak.
While some dream of long walks on the beach, TJ preferred his sunsets framed by busted-out windows and the risk of tetanus. Nothing said peace and serenity to him like a crumbling staircase and the faint smell of asbestos from the ruins of his favorite forgotten places.
In loving memory of TJ, who embraced life with a fearless spirit and a heart full of laughter. He had a passion for reckless adventures, always chasing thrills that brought joy not only to himself, but to everyone around him. TJ’s true purpose was to spread happiness, and he made it his mission to bring laughter to every moment he could.
He was known for his honesty, always speaking his mind, whether good or bad with little reservation. Above all, TJ was wholly himself, guided by his own mind and soul, untouched by outside expectations.
TJ had a deep compassion for others in pain because he carried his own battles quietly, every day. He tried to shield others from the demons that haunted him, even as they became too heavy for him to bear.
There’s no doubt TJ can be found on the other side kickflipping Cavaliers, down by the river.
