Theresa Barton

Theresa Ruth Barton, 71, of Bonne Terre passed away November29, 2013 at her residence. She was born March 30, 1942 in Bonne Terre to thelate George H. and Candacy (Sweet) Weir. She was also preceded in death by onebrother, Tom Weir and four sisters, Gertrude Stoffel, Reva Weir, Anna belleWatson and Freeda Betty Weir. Theresa retired from Wetterau. She attended theCaledonia Methodist Church.She is survived by her husband, Roger Barton; threesons, Greg (Kim) Curdt of Portland, MO, John (Donna) Curdt of Bonne Terre, Jeff(Jennifer) Curdt of Park Hills; three step-children, Wendy (Jerry) Whitehurstof Farmington, Tina (Paul) Evans of Caledonia, Tonya (Tim) Gomas of Nixa, MO;six grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter;brother, Sam Weir; sisters, Pansy Fowler, Maudie Barlow, Dorothy (Jerry) Bush,Ione (Gary) Hornerkamp. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Visitation will be Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 3:00 PMuntil 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in DESLOGE. Servicewill be Monday at 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in DESLOGE withRev. Ryan Retzer and Rev. Rick Lasley officiating. Interment will follow atCaledonia Methodist Cemetery.
