Thelma Sutton

Thelma Sutton, 96 of Desloge, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at PresbyterianManor in Farmington. She was born January 02, 1917 in Hurst-Bush, IL. She was a long time member of The Desloge First Baptist Church and also, The Providence Baptist Church. Thelma taught school at Central Elementary of Desloge, for 24 years.Mrs. Sutton was preceded in death by parents, James and Mary Estella (Jones) Wagoner; husband, Lloyd L. Sutton; and sister, Mildred Dunlap.Mrs. Sutton is survived by children, Thomas Sutton and wife Judith of Austin, TX, Judith (Mrs. Zeno) Forbes of Desloge, and David Sutton and wife Paula of Union; grandchildren, Jeff Forbes, Karen Gallaher, Tom Forbes, and Julie Wilson; and twelve great-grandchildren.The family will accept friends at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The service will follow immediately at 2:00 PM with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Interment will be held at St. Francois MemorialPark in Bonne Terre. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer Association, Desloge First Baptist Church or The Providence Baptist Church.
