Thelma Rawlins

Thelma Mae (Talley) Rawlins, age 80, of Park Hills, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Sunday, March 1, 1942, in Potosi, to the late Russell and Thelma Frances (Hays) Talley.

 Thelma was a member of Flat River Church of God. She retired from East Missouri Action Agency and loved being able help people through her work. She enjoyed going to yard sales, taking trips to Branson, watching and listening to Elvis but most of all she loved spending time and taking care of her family.   

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 52 years Frankie Rawlins Sr.; sister, Shirley Sisson and very special aunt, Zella Gilliam (Aunt Pete).

Thelma is survived by her three children, Frankie Rawlins, Jr. and wife Jody, Babette “Betty” Vines and Regina Rawlins: four grandchildren, Paul Johnson and wife Kendra, Brandi Hampton and husband Shane, Kyle Cosby, Chad Cosby and wife Kim; twelve great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; along with other friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home- Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, from 9:00 AM until service time of 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ryan Retzer officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington.
