Terry Lee Clauser Sr.

Terry Clauser, Sr., 87, of Farmington, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Camelot Nursing Home in Farmington. He was born February 5, 1937, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Mary Ellis.

Terry loved fishing and animals. He enjoyed St. Louis Cardinals baseball and watching football. Terry was also an avid collector of many things, and he liked his stuff. From 1973 – 2021 he and his brother John owned and operated St. Francois County Glass. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma J. (Polete) Clauser, his mother Mary Ellis as well as his grandparents George and Rose Clauser.

 Terry is survived by his children; Tana Jones, Terry Clauser, Jr. (Melissa), Scott Clauser (Teresa), Mark Clauser (Angie), Kim Plunkett (Bill), Bryan Clauser (Brenda); nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie Ellis (Karen), and John Ellis (Mary Jo).

 A memorial visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Taylor Chapel in Farmington on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM. Luke Roussin will be officiating. Memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice and Farmington Pet Adoption. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z.
