Teresa Lynn Gibson

Teresa Lynn (Bishop) Gibson, 60, of Desloge, left this world far too soon on Wednesday February 14, 2024 at her residence. She was born on Sunday, September, 15, 1963 in Columbia, Missouri to Harold and Mildred (Kleindienst) Bishop. She was preceded in death by her father; son, Joshua Varner.

Survivors include her husband Robert “Bob” Gibson her children, Matthew (Amber) Bishop, Christine (Daniel) McFerron; brother, Terry Young; step-children, Ben (Ashley) Gibson, Kyle (Tennille) Gibson; grandchildren, Hunter, Sadie, Maggie, Riley, Kelton, Brice, Brynne, Lane, Tucker, Brantley, Kate, Wyatt, Fe, Destiny; siblings, Rochell (Randy) Moss and Tara (Bobby) Eaton; a host of family and friends.

Teresa’s simple joys in life were listening to Willie Nelson and watching chick flicks. However, her greatest passion was being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Her family will remember her fondly as someone who loved unconditionally, encouraged them to pursue their dreams. Teresa’s legacy will forever live on in the hearts and memories of those who were fortunate enough to have shared a part of their lives with her. At the request of the family there was a private memorial held.
