Sybil Marie Counts

Sybil Marie (Pritchett) Counts age 70 was born June 25,1941 to the late Presslie and Vernetta (Morice) Pritchett. She peacefully went to be with the Lord January 21,2012. Sybil was married to the late DeVaughn Eugene Counts in 1963 also preceding her in death are a step son Richard Allen Counts and a brother Leroy Pritchett. She is survived by two children Vaughn Allen Counts and Vickie (Counts) and husband Mark Green; Grandchildren, Nathan, Megan, Cord, Clayton, Jennifer, Christopher, Richie , Lance and Ashley; Brothers, Leonard (Punk) Pritchett and Jane, Lloyd Pritchett and wife Martha, Larry Pritchett and wife Janet; Sisters, Pauline Seabaugh and husband Leroy, Linda McEntire and husband Harry. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends also survive. Sybil was an active Sunday School Teacher in the First Baptist Church in Desloge. She also was an L.P.N. and worked at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center during her retirement. She took pride in her home and worked hard to create a loving environment for all who entered. She loved to spend time with others and enjoyed going to the Bonne Terre Nutritional Center.Sybil was a co-owner of Counts and Sons and her love and talent of sewing led her to run Initials and Ideas.She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.Visitation with the family will be Wednesday January 25, 2012 from 11 am to 1 pm. A memorial service will follow at 1 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge with Rev. Bradford Laubinger officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the donors choice.
