Sue Smith

Glenda “Sue” (Glore) Smith, 71, of DeSoto, passed away March 3, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.  She was born on August 15, 1948, in Bonne Terre to the late Chester L. and Elba Jane (McGee) Glore.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy R. Smith; brothers, Tommy Glore, Clyde “Bill” McGee, and Gary Glore; sister, Bertha Glore; and special niece, Rebecca Pettus.

Sue is survived by her son and daughter in law, Ronnie (Lynnlea) Smith; grandchildren, Kyle (Kate) Smith; step-grandchildren, Haylea and Brayden Cooley; three great-grandbabies; brothers, Eddy (Donna) Glore, Kenny Glore, Lonnie (Karlene) Glore, Robert Glore, Alan (Diana) Glore; sisters, Karen (Glen Hendrix) Davis and Elba Glore; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Friday, March 6, 2020, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Service will be 11 AM on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Bonne Terre. Interment will follow at Buster Cemetery in Valles Mines.
