Steven Earl House

   Steven Earl House age, 68 of Bonne Terre, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Mercy Jefferson in Festus. He was born Sunday, October 3, 1954, in Bonne Terre to Marvin E. and Opal (Johnson) House. Steven, also known as “Steve”, proudly served his country in the Missouri National Guard. Everyone knew Steve as a self-starter who took an interest in owning and operating businesses in his local community for over 40 years. He was the co-owner of the House Brother’s Heating and Cooling Company. As a long-time member of the Bonne Terre Chamber of Commerce, Steve was recognized and awarded local business leader of the year. He was a member of the Providence Baptist Church.

  Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Opal (Johnson) House and son, Adam House.

 Steve is survived by his loving wife, Jeanine Rose (Politte) House; father, Marvin E. (Della) House; brother, Danny (Shari) House; sisters, Darla (Gary) Myers and Becky (Darrell) Jaco; brother-in-law Richard Burr; many nieces, nephews, family and friends, also survive. Steve will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

   Visitation will be held at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 1:00 PM until time of service at 3:00 PM. Pastor Bobby Upchurch will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Bonne Terre with full Military honors. In lieu flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church.
