Steve Edward Arras

Steven (Steve) Edward Arras, 58, of Bonne Terre, Missouri, passed suddenly on February 3, 2025, at his home. He was born on July 31, 1966, in St. Louis, Missouri and lived in both Florida and Missouri for most of his life. Steve attended Orange Park High School and graduated from Jones College in Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. He was employed at GC Services in a senior management position and managed over 100 employees. He also travelled the world with Continental Airlines where he retired from after an extended illness.

 Steve was a loving husband, son and uncle. He loved the outdoors, fishing, boating, bird watching, 4-wheeling as well as horror and sci-fi movies. His rescue dog “Sandy” was a happy addition to his and Tracy’s home. As a christian, Steve loved time with his family and friends and loved God.

 He is survived by his wife and best friend Tracy Toenjes; parents William and Darlene Arras; sister Debbie (Jim) Wormhoudt; sister in-law Nancy Arras; nephews, Justin (Melissa) Jacob, Dylan; William (Will) Arras; niece Whitney (Matt) Sadberry.

 He is preceded in death by his brother William (Billy) Arras.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 13 from 10:00 A.M. until service time of 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Columbia, Illinois, with Pastor Krenz officiating.
