Smokey Jackson

Smokey Jackson, 61, of Farmington, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at Parkland Hospital. He was born Tuesday, August 20, 1954 in Memphis, TN. He adored his grandchildren and loved music. He was known to be quite the character and everyone loved Smokey. He was a member of the Flat River Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn (Jackson) Rankin; brother, Daryl Buchanan; sisters Nancy Hollins and Dawn Buchanan. Smokey is survived by his ex-wife and dear friend Patricia Jackson; sons, Shaun Hudson and wife Raquel, Andre Jackson, and Carlos Jackson; grandchildren, Shaunice, Amber, Jordan, Cameron, Devin, Cayla, Shaun Jr.; brothers, Christopher Buchanan and Nathan Buchanan; sisters, Corlis Dianne Buchanan, Etoya Buchanan, and Constance Buchanan. Visitation will be Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Memorials can be directed to the Flat River Church of Christ.
