Shirley S. Wattler

Shirley Wattler, 63, of Park Hills passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. She was born Monday, March 22, 1954 in Holcomb, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Matt Wattler; father, William Dorris. Shirley enjoyed sewing; she often volunteered to help organizations including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Esther Fire Department. At one time she worked for the St. Francois Ambulance District. She was the owner/operator of “Flowers Baskets and More” in Park Hills. Shirley retired from nursing as an R.N.

Shirley is survived by her mother, Betty (Weeks) Dorris; son, Steve Carl and wife Tasha; grandsons, Dillon and Cody; brothers, Bill Dorris and fiancé Tina Smith and Scott Dorris; sisters, Elaine Boshell and husband Jim and Terri Portell and fiancé Carl Welch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, September 1, 2017 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills with Pastor Dan Presson officiating.
