Shirley Boyer

Shirley Boyer, 81 of Desloge, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center in Farmington.She was born October 19, 1931 in Desloge, to the late Carl Lewis and Alpha Mae (Eaton) Duncan.Shirley was an office supervisor for Missouri Natural Gas Company, where she later retired and was also a member of Esther Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as husband, James "Page" Boyer. Shirley is survived by her long time friend and co-worker, Lorene Burch of Farmington. Several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 6 PM to 8 PM.The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Desloge, Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 11 AM with Rev. Jonathan Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Park Hills.
