Shelia Jarvis

            Shelia Jarvis, 68, of Farmington passed away August 2, 2017 in her home. She was born August 4, 1948, in Ironton, to the late Ivan and Gladys (Williamson) Wood. She graduated from Leadwood High in 1966 and attended Mineral Area College. She worked at Bonne Terre Hospital and then at Farmington Community Hospital as a ward clerk until the birth of her daughter. She later worked for Caledonia School District as a secretary and for Head Start.  

            Shelia is survived by her husband of 45 years, Randall L. Jarvis; and daughter, Amy (Jarvis) Kelly and husband Paul. 

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 10:00 AM until service time at noon. Chaplain Allan Harmening will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness, 12015 Manchester Rd, Suite 130, St. Louis, MO 63131-4417.
