Sheldon Lee Rudzek

Sheldon Lee Rudzek, 68, of Marquand passed away July 5, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 23, 1949 in Burlington, Colorado. Sheldon proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from the United States Army and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. He was a helicopter pilot and instructor for the Army. Sheldon was a member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He enjoyed computers and flying.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Constance and Rosemary (Bonds) Rudzek; one brother, Sherman Rudzek.

Sheldon is survived by his wife, Betty (Morris) Rudzek; two children, Barbara Wagoner and Darren Jimerson; several grandchildren; siblings, Donald (Sharon) Rudzek, Richard (Zana) Rudzek, Ronald (Dana) Rudzek, Julena (Rusty) Critchfield, Judy (Warren) Peery, Joann Rehmert and Mary Lou Fagan.

Visitation will be Monday, July 9, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Service will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the C. Z.
