Sharon Ann Kalal

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Ann Kalal, who left us on March 8, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on July 1, 1959, in Bonne Terre, MO, Sharon was a vibrant spirit who embraced life with a passion that was infectious. She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Gabriella "Peri" Kala and brother in law, Dennis Conway.

Sharon was a child of God and a true lover of the great outdoors. Whether she was riding four-wheelers, motorcycles, or spending the day fishing and hunting, she thrived in nature’s embrace. She had a special fondness for swimming and enjoyed every moment spent under the sun. Her favorite colors, black and red, perfectly reflected her vibrant personality—bold, dynamic, and always ready for adventure.

Sharon had a unique gift for connecting with people, often using her characteristic humor and straightforward, colorful words to brighten their day. If you were lucky enough to call her a friend, you knew you had someone who would go above and beyond for you.

Sharon is survived by her brother, James Kalal, her twin sister, Shirley Conway; foster daughter whom she deeply cared for Trudy Daubach; dear and special friend Barbara Williams-Crane, along with nieces, nephews and other family members.

A celebration of life will be determined at a later date to honor Sharon’s life.

In this time of loss, let us remember Sharon as the loving, adventurous soul she was, and may her spirit continue to inspire us all to enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
