Sharon Day

Sharon Lee Day, 61, of Bismarck passed away January 10, 2018 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus. She was born August 11, 1956 in St. Louis. She dearly loved her family and was a neighborhood mother to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Thompson, Sr. and Shirley (Higgins) Mowery; husband, Carl Day, Sr.; son, Mark Campbell, Jr.; step-mother, Norma Thompson; brother, Donald Thompson, Jr.; grandparents, Robert and Nellie Radford; best friend for over fifty years, Miczi Lapusan.

Sharon is survived by eleven children, Tonya Beard and husband Frank, Tracy Thompson, Stephianie Mangan and husband Zack, Jennifer Campbell and wife Chauntel, Timmy Thompson, John Lapusan and wife Jennifer, Joe Lapusan and wife Carolina, David Lapusan and wife Brook, Jorge Garza, Jr. and wife Sarah, Angie Kozik and husband Jeremy, Misty Kathcart and husband Shawn; thirty-three grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Timothy Thompson and wife Terra; three sisters, Donna Kinworthy and husband Kenny, Shelly Ziebol, Priscilla Nichols; best friend for over fifty years, Vickie Parnell; a whole host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills with Rev. Rick Wisdom officiating.
