Sharon Kay Berry

Sharon Kay Berry, 76 of Farmington passed away July 24, 2024 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. She was born May 8, 1948 in Ironton, MO to the late John Ferrell and Bessie Lillian (Roe) Buchanan. Sharon was a member of the First Baptist Church of DeLassus. She also attended Three Rivers Baptist Church for many years. Sharon was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, coloring on her iPad and also having girls day. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

 In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Johnny W. Buchanan.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Albert L. Berry; one daughter, Julie Nephew and husband Sean; one granddaughter, Kayle Nephew (Jarrette Byington); two great-grandchildren, Jax Marshall and Karter Byington; sister-in-law, Tina Buchanan. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home -Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Visitation will resume Monday at 9:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of DeLassus until the time of service at 10:00 AM with Dr. Bill Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Three Rivers Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
