Sarah Jeanette Harper

Mrs. Sarah Jeanette Harper passed away early Thursday morning, December 30, 2004, at the Parkland Hospital, South, in Farmington, at the age of 89 years, 8 months & 22 days. Sarah was born on April 8, 1915, in Farmington, to Tony Sutherland & Elva 'Biggs' Sutherland. Also preceding in death were: her husband, Thomas A. Harper (on Aug. 17, 1986); 2 Sisters: Gladys Hamm & Lee Bell; 3 Brothers: Clifton Sutherland; Carl Sutherland & Swithin Sutherland. Sarah was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, Farmington. Survivors Include: 1 Step-Son, Kenneth (& Zell) Harper, of Chicago, Illinois; 1 Brother: Earl Sutherland, of Farmington; 3 Step-Grandchildren; Step-Great-Grandchildren & numerous Nieces & Nephews. Visitation Saturday, 3-8 pm. Visitation resumes Sunday, 7 am & funeral Sunday, 1 pm, January 2, 2005, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. David Webster officiating. Interment follows at Three Rivers Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve County. Memorials may be made to: * The Three Rivers Cemetery Maintenance Fund.
