Sanford Mahurin

Sanford "Sam" Mahurin, 74 of Park Hills, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. He was born August 29, 1939 in Banner. Sam worked in construction and enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved watching the Cardinals play.He is preceded in death by wife, Lucille (Kirsch) Mahurin; parents, Alvie and Etta (Duncan) Mahurin; and sister, Edna Cross.Sam is survived by son, Michael Ray Mahurin of Desloge; daughter, Cheri Turner of Portland, OR; grandchildren, Cody and Kaylie Mahurin; step-daughter, Michelle Dawn Waller; siblings, Lorine Snyder, Jerry Mahurin, Patrick Mahurin of Desloge, and Herberrt Eugene Mahurin of Farmington.The family will accept friends at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Monday, December 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Herod Cemetery in Desloge.
