Sam R. Hulsey

Samuel R. Hulsey, age 22 of Desloge passed away March 14, 2015 due to the result of an automobile accident. He was born April 29, 1992 in Farmington. He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Norma Jean "Mutsie" Greif. Sam was a North County graduate with the class of 2010, he attended Linn Tech for a year after high school. Throughout his youth and high school, Sam was an outstanding athlete in baseball, soccer and basketball. He stayed active with baseball umping local little league games. He was an avid deer hunter, loved to trout fish, and spending time with friends and family. He will missed by many. Sam is survived by his parents, Jerry "Hoghead" and Debby (Greif) Hulsey of Desloge; grandparents, Frank and Faye Hulsey of Desloge eight brothers and sisters, Julia Pettus, Corey (Connie) Hulsey, Andy (Yolanda) Fox, Cody (Krista) Hulsey, Lucas (Erin) Hulsey, Nick (Kelsea) Hulsey, Frank Hulsey, and Joe Hulsey; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be Tuesday March 17, 2015 from 4 pm to 9 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral mass will be 11 am Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington with Rev. Rickey Valleroy officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
