Sadie Bible

            Sadie Bible, 79, of Desloge, passed away November 25, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on October 14, 1938 in Knob Lick to the late Everett and Lora (Moore) Marshall. She was an avid reader and loved shopping for antiques.  Sadie was a member of the Gospel Light Free Will Baptist Church. 

            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry O. Bible; two brothers, John and Roy Marshall. 

            Sadie is survived by three children, Stephen Bible and wife Karen, Sharon Bible, James Bible and wife Suzanne; three grandchildren, Amber Bible, Josh Hauf and wife Melissa, Jessicah Dawson and husband Aaron; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Virgil Marshall; sisters, Betty Fults and husband Bob and Beulah Marshall; a special friend Don Pirtle are all left to mourn her passing.         

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.  Visitation will resume at Gospel Light Free Will Baptist Church in Bonne Terre on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM until funeral time of 11:00 AM with Rev. Larry Allison officiating and assisted by Rev. Herb McMillen. Burial to follow at Knob Lick Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
