Ruthie Ann Wood

Ruthie Ann (Franklin) Wood, 89, of Bellevue, NE passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021. She was born on Monday, August 10, 1931 in Potosi, to the late William and Maude (Lefrig) Franklin.

Ruth was a homemaker, loving mother to her six children. She enjoyed classical music, and traveling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Chester L Wood; one grandson, Scott; one brother, William (Willie) Franklin; three sisters, Zuelia, Franklin, Zelma (Franklin) Isgrig and Naomi (Franklin) Ferguson.

Ruth is survived by her children, Christy (Wood) Moore, Kenneth Wood, Gary Wood, Carolyn (Wood) Gillham, Laura Wood and Ronnie Fuentes; ten grandchildren Traydra, Denae, Brian, Benjamin, Conner, Rachel, Brandon, Samuel, Joseph, Abigail and eleven great- grandchildren Keisyn, Kamyn, Karlie, Raelee, Zoye, Charlotte, Michael, Perrin, Maria, Corbin, Maverick and beloved nieces Lillie, Linda, Betty, Laverne, Marjorie, Janet, Naomi and Peggy.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 11:30 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home and Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Gene Moses officiating.
