Ruth Moore

Ruth Regina Moore, 89, of Bonne Terre passed away May 25, 2014 at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center. She was born in Esther on March 27, 1925 to the late Edwin and Jennie (Rudloff) Cheesebrough. Ruth was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Charles Moore; daughter in infancy, Lisa Marie; four brothers, Thomas, Arthur, Luther, and Harold; three sisters, Nettie, Melba, and Marjorie.Ruth was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, past member of Daughters of Isabella and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. 1950 to 1976 Ruth and Marvin were the owners of Moore Barber and Beauty Supply. Ruth was also a former longtime cook at the Crossroads Restaurant.Ruth is survived by two sons, Ronald (Anita) Moore, Richard (Brenda) Moore; daughter, Nancy Moore; grandchildren, Kimberly (Steven) Wade Sr. Steven Moore, Dudley Moore, Jason Moore, Timothy Bullock, Mathew Moore, Thomas Bullock, Elizabeth (Michael) Fisher; great-grandchildren, Miranda, Faith, Megan, Blake.Visitation will be Wednesday May 28, 2014 from 4 to 8 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Funeral Service will be 12 pm Thursday at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
