Ruth Maxine Diaz

Ruth Maxine Diaz, 85, of Terre Du Lac passed away February 8, 2014 at her residence. She was born February 17, 1928 in Parma, MO. to the late Adolf and Colleen (Gillis) Lefler. Mrs. Diaz was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Lambert.Mrs. Diaz is survived by her husband, Joseph Diaz of Terre Du Lac; children, Wayne Lambert and Fianc Mary of St. Louis, Linda Lewis of Ky., Curtis Lambert and wife Eunice of Pevely, Nancy Lambert of Pevely, Dennis Lambert and wife Lana of Forestdale, Jerry Vent and wife Barb of Terre Du Lac, Denise (Mrs. John) Guzman of Desoto, and Dina Brake and Fianc Jerry Bess of Bonne Terre; 103 grandchildren and great-grandchildren with 4 additional on the way.Visitation will be Tuesday February 11, 2014 from 6 to 9 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Funeral will be 11 am Wednesday at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Steve Clevenger officiating. Interment will follow at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation.
